Tullamore Lions present 'The Lonesome West' for Elsie Mae

TULLAMORE Lions Club are hosting a production of the acclaimed Martin McDonagh play 'The Lonesome West' in aid of the Elsie Mae Scally fund.
The charity play will take place in the Bridge House on Tuesday 12th & Wednesday 13th of February.
A black comedy, 'The Lonesome West' promises to make the audience laugh when they really shouldn't.
With explosive moments and the darkest humour, it tells the story of two fueding bachelor brothers and attempts to civilise them by the despairing local priest, and his devoted sidekick Girleen, and a drop of poitin.
This year Tullamore Lions Club are raising much needed funds for Elsie Mae Scally.
Tickets are available from the Bridge House or any Lions Club member.
In April 2018, the family of Elsie Mae Scally came to a halt when they got the devastating news there little 2 year old girl was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. As a family they were devastated that there beautiful and funny little Elsie who is so full of mischief and life could be diagnosed with such a life threatening disease.
Elsie was admitted to Our Lady's Hospital in Crumlin immediately after her diagnosis and will continue treatment for at least the next 2 years.
