Chambers Ireland Welcomes CSO Figures Showing Continued Employment Growth
25th September 2017
Chambers Ireland welcomes the CSO figures which show continued employment growth in the Irish economy in the second quarter of the year.
Director of Policy and Communications Sarah Freeman said, "These figures are a further positive sign and with unemployment decreasing, it is crucial that Government continues to build on the economic recovery and reallocates some of the funding currently vested in job creation schemes towards adult education and up-skilling within the workplace.
"The ability of our workforce to take on the new challenges that Brexit will likely bring is seen as tantamount to our success. This necessitates training staff in exploring new export markets and engaging with additional administrative procedures."
